How I became a psychologist

My path into the profession began with a personal crisis and disillusionment with my previous career direction. That became the moment of honest reframing and the move into psychology — into a field with depth, meaning, and real change in people’s lives.

Today I work as a Gestalt therapist with adults and couples. My experience in practice — over 12 years, more than 500 clients in individual and group work.

At the center of my work — emotional crises, anxiety, relationship difficulties, burnout, inner conflicts, and life transitions when old ways of living no longer work.

I rely on the Gestalt approach and continuously develop professionally: training, supervision, and personal therapy are an essential part of my practice.

I don’t work with “quick advice.” I work with a process where, gradually, more clarity emerges: what’s happening for me, what I need, and how to live without constant inner exhaustion.

How working with me unfolds

People usually come to me when:

  • there’s a lot of anxiety or tension inside
  • it’s hard to make sense of relationships
  • there’s emotional exhaustion or “I can’t cope”
  • life feels like it’s fallen into pieces and it’s unclear how to put it back together

Important: you don’t need to be “ready for therapy.” And you don’t need to know what exactly to say.

You can come confused, tired, angry, silent, or with chaos inside. That’s a normal and sufficient point of entry into the work.

I’m attentive to each person’s pace. We don’t force the process and we don’t “fix” the person — we gradually return contact with yourself, your body, and your own support.

If you’re hesitating right now

That’s okay.

The first step into therapy almost never looks like a confident decision. More often it’s an inner:

“it’s hard for me, but I want things to change”

And that’s enough to begin.
